A few months back we officially announced CasinoRPG, and then a few weeks ago we told you what the game actually is. Now, we are excited to announce the next phase of this process, which is the launch of a Kickstarter for CasinoRPG. We are also releasing the first trailer, so be sure to watch our video!
If you don't know what Kickstarter is, then it is time to take notice. In their own words, "Kickstarter is a funding platform for creative projects." It has turned out to be an amazing platform to get games in particular funded and launched, and we saw this as an opportunity to get our amazing community involved in the development and launch of CasinoRPG.
Our Kickstarter campaign will run from January 6, 2013 at 3:00 PM CST through February 5, 2013 at 3:00 PM CST. We need your help to reach our goal (Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing platform, so if we don't reach our goal we don't get funded) and take CasinoRPG from a good game to a great game. Backers of our Kickstarter will get early beta access as well as a variety of physical goods like t-shirts, playing cards, posters and more. For the more adventurous, there is even the possibility of becoming a character in the game!
