The Accelerator Experiment: Part II

It has now been two weeks since the VentureSpur pitch day, and guess what? We are still alive and kicking, though admittedly still trying to find our way through this maze called fundrasing. In the first of this two-post series on startup accelerators, I talked about how VentureSpur and the startup accelerator movement are one of the key pieces to this emerging startup community in Oklahoma City. But now the question becomes, looking back on the last three months, was participating in an...

New Game: CasinoRPG

As we told you about a few weeks back, we've been participating in a startup accelerator since early August and have been pretty secretive about what we have been working on. There might even be a few...

It was time to change, and VentureSpur was an opportunity to be a catalyst for that change. I must say, I was somewhat skeptical when I first heard about VentureSpur. In fact, I was still somewhat skeptical when GoldFire Studios was accepted as a finalist to pitch...

GoldFire Studios re-imagined

The current design and content on the GoldFire Studios website is closing in on two years old now. A lot has changed in those two years, so I figured it was time to do a little reorganizing, test out my design chops and reimagined this site from scratch. What you are seeing now is the new site. The base colors are still very similar to before, as well as the overall structure (don't fix something that isn't broken, right?). However, I always got the nagging feeling that the site felt more...
