BC Wars Goes Gold
Sunday, December 27. 2009

After a year and a half of development and a year of alpha/beta testing, BC Wars is now gold! Now all clams in the game are backed by real money and you will now be able to make withdrawals. This doesn't mean that development on the site will stop, not at all. There are still many exciting new features to come as this game will continue to evolve and expand.

Thanks to all of the alpha & beta testers, I hope everyone enjoys the game now and into the future!

Tentative BC Wars Gold Date
Monday, November 2. 2009

I am sure many of you are wondering how much longer beta testing is going to last with BC Wars. I've had a date picked for a few weeks now that I've been working to, and I think making that date public not only helps all of you feel more connected, but should also help me get things ready on time with a solid deadline in place. However, I want to say right now that I reserve the right to change this date in the future as quality is my number one priority and I don't want to rush something out the door that isn't ready.

That being said, the currently planned date for the end of beta is December 27, 2009 (Exactly one year from when alpha testing began). More updates to come as this date approaches.

Updates from 2009 So Far
Friday, July 10. 2009

Yeah I know, I'm bad at keeping a blog up-to-date. 2009 has been a busy year already, and I should have been posting about it, but I've been far too busy and it just slipped my mind.

Early in the year I sold Apex Gaming Ads. A few months later I sold my first website, after a lot of hard thought, Apex Web Gaming. Next, I acquired twtAd and resold it a month later. I then made a site called Adfly (adf.ly), but then sold it 2 weeks later. BC Wars sort of got put on the afterburner there for a while while all of this was happening, but I am starting to rev that back up now.

PokerRPG is going strong and a lot of great updates are on the way. A Facebook version of PokerRPG was also released recently. BC Wars is looking at a Beta launch within 5-10 days from this posting.

BC Wars Alpha Begins
Sunday, December 28. 2008

This has been a long day in the making, and now alpha testing has finally started! In case you are unaware, during this stage of the game, the site is in its very early and very first public stage. This means the features aren't fully fleshed out yet and there are quite likely quite a few bugs throughout the site. This is why we need YOU to play (and hopefully enjoy) the game to find all of these bugs and help us craft the game and site into something amazing.

I strongly urge all of you to take advantage of the "feedback" tab to your right to submit any bugs and suggestions that you may have. Even if it doesn't seem like much, submit it and we will try to implement all suggestions throughout these testing stages.

I must warn you (in case you didn't read the notice when you registered), that there will be at least 2 resets before this game goes gold (is done with both alpha and beta testing). This will be necessary for many reasons, but mainly because a lot of things will change both visibly and behind the scenes during these testing stages.

BC Wars Update
Wednesday, December 24. 2008

Good news everyone! I have finished all major features on the slate early, which means BC Wars will be going into public alpha mode around 12:00 am CST on Sunday, December 28th (if not a little earlier). No more delays, thankfully! Everything is looking good and I'm excited to let you all get in here and start finding bugs (hopefully there aren't too many though).

The feature set that you will see at the start of alpha will just be a taste of what is to come. The start of alpha will be the groundwork for a very expansive and ever-growing online world that will get flushed out over the next few months during alpha and beta testing. It is a little early to say, but I am aiming to bring the site out of beta in mid to late May of 2009.
